The OG team is looking into the use of the LinkedIn social network and is asking for the advice of Community Managers through a questionnaire that we will also ask you on Twitter.

Before asking our questions about Linkedin, we would like to retrace the interest of this professional social network. Launched in May 2003, it officially counts 187 million active users monthly and 277 million more have registered since April 2014.

All the major brands are present on LinkedIn. Here is a list of 10 brands that generate a great deal of commitment on their business page: L’Oréal, LVMH, Capgemini, Danone, Accor, Axa, Société Générale, Orange, Total, Renault. It is also in the interest of SMEs to be present on the network.

The main objectives of these companies are the following: “HR”, with job descriptions and advertisements for jobs within their companies; “image”, with key figures and staff testimonials; and finally “business”, with information on their products and services.

  • Our questions about LinkedIn

We want to know more about the use of LinkedIn by your company in order to create in the long term a tool adapted to your needs.

So here are a few questions for those Community Managers who use LinkedIn.

A question will be posted daily on Twitter and we have listed them for you below:

- Do you have a LinkedIn account? Do you use it to manage Company pages?
- Do you manage groups? If so, how many? Do you participate in groups? If so, how many?
- On average, how many times per week do you post updates on your account? On your LinkedIn page(s)?
- What performance indicators do you follow on LinkedIn?
- Do you use third party tools to manage the activity of your brand on LinkedIn? If so, which?

You can tweet your answers to our questions by mentioning our account @Over_graph or leave a comment below. Thank you for helping us develop our solution!
